ERP Inventory Rollout
Distribution · Business SystemsThe brief
A distribution business needed to manage stock across several warehouses in one system. Stock was hard to see in one place and hard to trust, which made buying and selling decisions harder than they needed to be.
How we approached it
1
Map the flow of goods
We mapped how stock moves through each warehouse, from receiving and storage to transfers and dispatch.
2
Set up the structure
We configured warehouses, locations, item categories, and units to match how the business organises stock.
3
Migrate and validate
We mapped, cleaned, and loaded item and opening-stock data, and checked it against the client’s own records before go-live.
4
Train and support
We trained warehouse and sales staff on their own workflows, and stayed available after launch.
What we delivered
Multi-warehouse inventory
Stock by location, with transfers between warehouses.
